The landing page is a web page designed to increase sales and collect more leads. You want users to land on this purpose-built website, access the content, and act. For example, you buy the product, sign up, watch a photo, and so on.

It is an effective marketing method, which serves as both a tool to drive traffic and a converter. First, you can create various marketing campaigns such as paid marketing, email, social media, etc. using the landing page to drive more traffic to your site. Second, you can translate much of the traffic coming from these channels to consumers and increase sales. You cannot have a proper landing page without a reliable service to provide you for it, at DigWeb we believe our customers need the best of the best, hence we provide you with so.

Because the front page of the website aims to turn more of your website visits to consumers, you would need to make it look friendly and pleasant. Above all, you’re going to have to design and organize the various call-to-action elements, such as the purchase button, sign-up forms, media play button, etc., attractively.

Landing Page Basics

  1. Specificity:

When creating a landing page, be precise on what you’re selling. You should also know what you gain from this, for example, if you offer free info when a user logs. How are you going to benefit from that?

  2. Benefits:

The right messaging lingo can attract the attention of a visitor. But if you’re not clear how much they’re going to benefit from, your conversions may be thin. A successful page must be transparent as to how the customer will benefit from the bid.

  3. Urgency:

The wording on the page should give users a sense of urgency. Explain why a visitor to the page should not take your offer later, but right now.

  4. Conversion:

Now, you’ve caught the attention of a visitor and managed to convince them of your great offer. So how are they going to get it? Your page will make the conversion to the lead as quickly as possible.

  5. Impact design:

Images speak louder than words. To get your point across without cluttering the page, use backgrounds that pop along with some related imagery.

Steps to build a Landing Page with WordPress?

Creating a landing page is pretty easy using a WordPress landing page plugin. Even if you’re not a developer, you can create a high-speed WordPress landing page and boost your website traffic and sales.

Step 1: Set up a new page

Let’s begin with a new page to continue planning the landing page.

Once you install Elementor, you can see two choices for editing your WordPress pages – the default WordPress editor or the Elementor editor. All you need to do is click the big blue button if you wish to edit the page with Elementor.

Select Elementor Canvas as the default page template before clicking on the Edit Elementor button. All navigation menus and links will be removed from your page. This will give you a blank page for your choice of a landing page.

Step 2: Edit With Elementor

To start designing your landing page, click the Edit Elementor button.

You can make an Elementor landing page in two ways.

A pre-built prototype can be used. You can use a few fantastic models to set up a landing page quickly and customise it however you like. Or, you can create the landing page from scratch.

The first way is quite straightforward. You only need to select a template and adjust it to your needs.

Step 3: Customise the Page Design

Start by selecting the landing page structure. You can build up to 6 columns of a page.

Usually, the 2-column design is the ideal structure for a simple landing page.

To add a backdrop, pick the segment, and change the Style settings. You can select a colour, a picture, a gradient, or even add a video to the background of your landing page.

Turn to the advanced section to configure the padding and the margins to make the style suit the screen.

Then you can enter the page summary in one column by dragging and lowering the Heading and Text Editor elements to the interface. You can add images and videos as well.

Step 4: Create a Form for Subscriptions

The next step is to create an email opt-in form to be embedded on it.

To do this, log in to your email marketing department and pick your email address and create an insert form to sign up.

Customize the template to your preferences, and then copy the code.

For the Pro edition of Elementor, you can build a specific subscription form and link it to the email marketing service through its built-in email subscription form.

Step 5: Embed the Subscription Form

Drag and drop the HTML element in Elementor in the empty column in the template of the front page. And add your email marketing program to the file you just copied.

Ensure that the background colour code is removed to make the registration form transparent. You may also customize the login form buttons and style to suit the template of your landing page if you are familiar with HTML and CSS.

Step 6: Publish your landing page

When you have finished customizing your design, click the Publish button to publish it.

You can also save it as a guide to using later to build further pages as well.

Wrapping up

Landing pages help to increase your email list and give your site more exposure. However, if you are looking to create sales pages to sell your products on your blog, you can also follow the same steps to create a simple WordPress sales page.
